Ho Oponopono and WordPress

Ho Oponopono for Bloggers

I am a WordPress specialist. I build WordPress websites and code custom WordPress solutions for a living. What that really means is that I do various things for money. Mostly help people set up blogs or websites using the wordpress theme for money. Sometimes it involves some custom PHP programming work and then things can get tricky.

For example:
I was working on a client’s site and she needed a wordpress theme customized to do a certain thing. I thought – no problem.  So I began the work and the first 2 days went very smoothly and easily. The third day I hit a snag when I couldn’t get this particular widget to behave the way I wanted.  So I did what I always do and began my detective work with Google, hunting for the solution. Why reinvent the wheel. Most likely someone out there has already done it and will share with you how they achieved it for F*R*E*E*.

I found several solutions referenced in Google but when I went to the particular forum that listed them, they were in P*A*I*D* protected area that I was not a member of. I spent the next 24 hours banging my head trying to come up with a solution. By the end of the period I was ready to tell the client that I was quitting and that I was not able to complete the job.  The keyword here is FELT.  I started to wonder if this might be my ego mind coming to visit with a gift of self -sabotage. (I have a record of doing this many times in the past.)

I woke up this morning and said I was taking the day off from coding. The first thing I did was pour a large glass of water (no, not solar water) and began to clean.

I put some good meditation music, sat on my cleaning couch and began. I love you,  I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you. The first thing that happened is that my ego mind began thinking on the problem. I stopped it and began to clean again. After about a half hour I felt that I no longer had the problem running around in my head. I went on with breakfast and other things that I wanted to do.

After a while I wandered back to my computer and checked my emails. Nothing worth jumping on immediately. I began closing the tabs in Firefox from the night before.  I glanced at a website that I’d left open and then clicked the back button to see what I had been searching on. At the bottom of Google’s search was an expert that showed exactly what I had been looking for (potentially). I went to the link ( no preconceived idea of whether it might be a free solution or not.) On the page was a video that explained step by step what needed to be done. I was a bit skeptical, I had tried a couple of other step by step solutions and they did not work. After the video I went to implement the solution.  This particular video was like all the other solutions, with one tiny difference. It mentioned 1 command that was not in any other solution that I had seen.

I quickly coded the bit, reloaded the page and… it worked!! I was thrilled. It made my day. Once again. Ho Oponopono had come through for me. Problem solved.

Peace to you.
